After extensive testing I am unsatisfied with this tv, and it's "high" end price tag. The resolution is a joke at best, it's blacks look inferior to my Sharps. The 72hz is definitely no 120hz I can attest to that. The buzzing is atrocious, and makes me want to cry when I watch my soap operas.  People's faces look like grated cheese due to the screen door effect, and the contrast is so high, you see things you are not supposed to.

Best 32" LCD

webassets/tel_LC32D62U_pic1.jpgThis has to be one of the best 32" 1080p TVs on the market. Coupled with a low price, it's a no brainer when purchasing a new TV.
Highlights:webassets/tel_LC32D62U_pic1.jpgwebassets/tel_LC32D62U_pic1.jpgwebassets/tel_LC32D62U_pic1.jpg
Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) Resolution
for the sharpest picture possible.
10,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio and 6ms Response Time1
produces spectacular picture quality.
Dual HDMI™ Inputs and Dual Component
for the ultimate in terminal flexibility. All inputs are compatible with 1080p sources.
Enhanced Black Level
provides the deepest, most accurate black of any flat panel TV.
High Brightness (450 cd/m2)
AQUOS LCD Televisions are very bright. You can put them virtually anywhere – even near windows, doors or other light sources – and the picture is still vivid.
Wide Viewing Angles (176º H x 176º V)webassets/tel_LC32D62U_pic1.jpg
Sharp's AQUOS viewing angles are so wide, you can view the TV clearly from practically anywhere in the room.
Built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuners
provide access to DTV and analog TV channels.

Does a 32" 1080p really make a difference compared to a 720p/1080i resolution.
Short answer....Yes!  Long answer... It depends on seating distance and if you have 1080p source.  But of course there is a benefit to 1080p.
